ANOTHER FUN THING I LIKE FOR A FAST SNACK IS TO PUT A SWEET TATER IN THE MICRO FOR EIGHT MINUTES AND THEN PUT ALL KINDS OF GOOD STUFF ON TOP. i AM TALKING PEPPERS, YOGURT, LEFTOVER BEANS ETC ETC.

 

Find these super healthy foods in the produce-frozen food- and canned goods sections.m My last choice is canned foods- too much sodium and salt mostly to add shelf life.

The Eating Out industry is in a contest to see who can sell us the biggest sandwich, stuffed taco, loaded breakfast croissant or biggest helping on the largest plate, platter or basket. It’s OK, don’t get in a twit. There is a solution.

Order a glass of ice water with lemon, take out box, and request your meat and baked potatoes be cut in half. If they look at you strangely, tell them your Health Advisors told you this is what you need to have for your healthy life style. That works in most situations.


IT IS SIMPLE TO BE HEALTHY

In 2006 .my Blood Pressure had been off the charts, weight was up and down like a yoyo, and drank enough sugar drinks to drown a horse. I was a sedentary mess destined for  morbid obesity.

The most important step to a healthy life is -ONLY TAKE ADVICE FROM THOSE WHO WALK THEIR  TALK. After June 12, 2006 I study, listen to, and observe top professional  athletes, Iron Men and Women, and battle tested Special Forces heroes.  My main Doc of 20 years runs two miles in the morning and again in the evening and also does resistance swimming and strength training. I pick up the phone and call my favorit  expert in nutrition who keeps updating her data. practices what she teaches and is a competitive distance runner and a multitasking Mom.

Here are the BASIC BACICS

Drink lots of water and no sugar drinks.

Eat 6 or more fresh or fresh frozen fruits and veggies every day

Walk briskly 20 to 45 minutes or more every day

Sleep seven or more hours every day
